I got a silent call earlier and I tried to find out who it was by dialling 1471. A strange number came up, but when I called it back, it just said the number doesn't exist. I tried using my call-blocker, but I don't think it helps much if the number's fake.

On 10th June 2019 at about 2:50pm, I got a call from 02380439872. Some bloke with an Indian accent said his name was Chris and was talking about my TV needing maintenance, but I've had it for more than 15 years! Told him I thought he was talking rubbish and he asked, "What, like you?" and then just hung up. Strange call!

As soon as I heard my voicemail kick in, they hung up. Seeing what others have said, I’m gonna block this number now.

Got a call from 0238043987 on 10th June 2019 around 10 in the morning. They were trying to get me to sign up for a TV maintenance deal, but I told them I wasn’t interested.

I picked up and they just ended the call straight away.

Somebody with an Indian accent called, saying they could block all my marketing and spam calls for a fee, then just hung up on me.

Got a call from someone with an American accent pretending to be from BT, saying we were breaking the law and had to hit "one" on the phone to stop getting in trouble. My missus just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from someone said they were from the ‘UK anti phone scam team’ or something, trying to make me pay £150 right then and there to stop any scam or sales calls. I played along for nearly ten minutes and kept him hanging, then he just got angry and started swearing at me over the phone!
