I got a call from a woman with a strong foreign accent claiming I was shelling out £7 each month for some kind of insurance on my TV. Thing is, I don't have any separate TV insurance apart from my usual home coverage. She tried to convince me to lower it to €5, but I called her out for being a fraud and then she just hung up.

Even though I'm on the TPS list, they still called me out of the blue. When I mentioned my TV, the person on the other end seemed clueless and had no idea what I was talking about.

got a call from a woman with a thick accent, couldnt make much sense of what she was saying at first so she had to repeat herself a few times. apparently, i was paying £7 a month for tv upkeep (had no idea about this) and she offered to lower it to £5. i told her i don’t have any contract for tv maintenance and asked if she was sure about the details. she just ended the call after that. seems like a total scam to me.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent telling me I was overpaying for my TV insurance. Total nonsense, sounded like a scam to me.
