I got a letter listing this number for contact. It said my insurance policy was being cancelled for some reasons, but the policy number mentioned didn’t match anything I have, and the company name was completely different from my insurer.

Twice I’ve been called by this number claiming they’re from my insurance. They asked me to send over personal stuff like proof of address from the past 5 years, my driving licence, and even my DVLA password, threatening to cancel my policy if I didn’t. When I tried to talk to someone higher up, they wouldn’t put me through. Same thing when I asked for the complaints team. I requested a callback from a manager and I’m still waiting for one.
