About an hour ago i got a call but didn't pick up. I tried ringing back using skype but nobody answered. Then I looked up the number and ended up on this site. Seems like the number's from Norway and is blocked.

Someone called saying they were from Microsoft and wanted to get into my laptop, but I knew it was a scam.

I got a call from a bloke with a thick accent saying he’s from Microsoft and my PC was getting hacked. I listened for a bit before telling him I don’t even own a computer. Pretty sure it was just some scam trying to take over my machine.

I got a call from someone claiming my computer had downloaded dangerous stuff. They insisted my PC was registered with their company and asked me to let them access it. I told them I’d call the police if they didn’t stop, and suddenly they just hung up.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft Windows, insisting that there had been an attempt to breach my computer's security. I’m quite certain this wasn't the case; it felt more like he was plotting to compromise my system instead. As soon as I began to probe him with questions, he abruptly ended the call! Very suspicious, if you ask me.

this woman called me and said her name was janet, said she was from windows about my computer. i told her i don’t own a computer and she kinda went quiet, said “oh” all confused. i then told her she probably got the wrong number and she just hung up.

Somebody from the Portsmouth area rang me claiming to be from Microsoft. They said my Windows had loads of errors and wanted me to switch on my PC so they could fix it remotely. I would avoid doing that, it sounds dodgy.
