I had a chap ring me up, purporting to be from something called 'Call Guardian', inquiring about my use of call blockers. Instinctively, I sensed it might be a dodgy call, so I mentioned that I already had a call blocker in place and would promptly add his number to it. Which, of course, I did!

Absolutely brilliant to uncover this information!

My phone went off, and when I picked up, the person on the other end just cut the call. How frustrating!

I recently received a call from this number, and it seemed like they had some knowledge of my surname, which made me a bit curious. The caller pretended to be from O2, claiming they could offer me a more advantageous deal on my mobile contract. After quite the lengthy discussion, I found myself tempted to accept their offer. However, when they requested my address, I thought it rather odd, given that they apparently already had it. I politely declined to provide my details and opted out of the deal, reasoning that if they were genuine, they ought to know my address already. At that point, the conversation came to an abrupt end and I hung up.

I didn't catch the call, but my phone flagged it as junk.

This number seems dodgy; I’ve received countless nuisance calls that just won't stop. It's clearly a scam!

I declined to participate in this survey.

Received a call from an unfamiliar number. I chose not to pick up.

I received a handful of suspicious calls today, but I didn’t pick up. Looks like I’ll be adding them to my block list. They’ve been a right nuisance, buzzing in from Tiverton, London, Birmingham, and even a number from Southampton. What a kerfuffle! 😳

"Is this Mr. XXXXX on the line?" "Who’s inquiring?" "Good day! I’m Roy, reaching out from the Central Telephone Bureau." He might introduce himself as “Roy,” though with that accent, one has to doubt his true identity or whether this call is genuinely from Southampton. And considering there isn't a Central Telephone Bureau anywhere, I suspect this is a bit of a scam.

Received two calls from this number in a single day. I chose not to pick up on either occasion, and they didn't bother to leave a voicemail.

Had a bit of a run-in with someone who attempted to explain the ins and outs of the internet to me, despite my having a degree in IT. He insisted that there was no fibre installed in our flats, which I’m well aware is not the case, and then suggested he’d require a man to discuss it further. Honestly, I didn’t have the patience and shut him down right then and there!

If you receive a call from this number, it's best not to engage at all—just hit that block button.

I've received multiple calls from this number claiming to be from o2. They keep stating that my contract is about to end! No matter how many times I try to redirect them, they persist in their attempts. Quite tiresome, really!

I chose not to answer the phone. I requested they leave a message, but naturally, they didn’t bother. Clearly, it was some sort of scam. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

I received a rather persistent call from a telesales agent claiming to be reaching out regarding my O2 contract, stating that my phone was no longer under contract. When I probed them about which company they represented, they conveniently went mum. It became obvious they're not affiliated with O2 at all.
