On the 16th of July, 2021, I received a call from 02380170724, which turns out to be linked to Fusion BPO Services. A representative from their call centre reached out, seeking to ask me three brief questions on behalf of their client, Scottish Power. I chose not to engage in the conversation. The caller was quite courteous and ended the call without any further ado.

Got a call from 02380170724 again, this being the second time. The initial call was odd, as the bloke wouldn’t reveal who he was. When he rang back, he addressed me by name and even rattled off my address, repeatedly checking if it was right. I never said ‘yes’ because you never know, they might record your voice and misuse it. I just kept replying with ‘possibly’. The guy was quite pushy and only ended the call when I said ‘no comment’. Honestly, I was tempted to shout something silly like “Jesus, the three kings and a donkey!” Anyway, blocked this number now.

OVERLY COURTEOUS! AS SOON AS THEY MENTIONED THEY WEREN'T OFFERING ANY PRODUCTS, I promptly ended the call!

The very first question they posed was whether I was indeed Mr 'my actual surname'. They insisted they weren't attempting to sell me anything and mentioned they were affiliated with a firm named Fusion. I've received numerous calls from this lot previously, and I keep informing them that I'm not keen. This time, I made it clear to the lady on the line that I've declined their offers on multiple occasions. I warned her that if they don't take my number off their list, I might have to consider pursuing a harassment claim. She assured me she would delete my information from their records - which I wouldn't be surprised is just a dodgy spreadsheet filled with names and numbers they've likely grabbed without permission. We shall see if that holds true in the coming days!
