I received a rather perplexing call from someone claiming to represent "Energy Advisors", stating they collaborated with my energy provider. When I inquired about who that was, she confidently mentioned "EDF" - a total mix-up, as that’s not my supplier at all! When I pressed her about the purpose of her call, she mentioned it was due to "a lead". I pointed out that her information was wildly incorrect, especially since she had no idea about my actual provider. Being on the TPS list, I quizzed her on her knowledge of it, but she seemed utterly baffled. I then had to inform her that her unsolicited call was actually against the law. Quite the charade!
