It’s quite reminiscent of the other feedback you often come across. This outfit appears to be actively seeking to inflate their profits at the expense of honest businesses, snagging their hard-earned cash. Engaging with these folks can really be a right pain! One mustn’t forget that they seem to be a bunch of clueless individuals, lacking any real grasp on how to run a proper business.

This person was dead set on speaking with a director, even though the director isn’t responsible for that sort of thing. They kept insisting on talking to one and got really pushy when told it wasn’t possible. Refused to back down and kept demanding I send an email. Just feels like a scam, probably from someone who’s just bought a random data list.

This woman seemed real pushy, like she was trying to control the convo. She definitely didn’t appreciate me firing questions back at her. I just ended the call and blocked the number.

Got a call from someone asking for a director who apparently doesn’t get involved much, then asked for a different director after that. I asked what it was about but didn’t want to share too much. Told him to send an email and said the director would be aware of it. When I asked where he was calling from, he just said his name was Lewis or something similar. I had to be pretty direct and ask for the company name, which turned out to be FTTC. My director had no clue about any of it.

We've had this chap, Wayne, ringing us incessantly, demanding to speak with the managing director. Despite our numerous inquiries, he’s quite evasive about the purpose of his calls. Quite puzzling, to say the least!

Wayne rang the work line claiming he had talked to our manager, which I knew wasn’t true at all. He was really rude and snapping at me. When I wouldn’t give him the details he asked to speak to the office manager. Honestly, Wayne, find a proper job and stop bothering people who are actually busy and making stuff up!

Got a call from someone saying they were from a firm called FTTP, asking about our phone setup and saying BT had recently switched us to a newer fibre that might cause problems. They even said they’d sent me an email, which wasn’t right at all. After a bit of chat, I ended it by telling them we use VOIP, and I guess that made them back off - felt like a sales pitch to me.

Encountered someone claiming to be Charlotte Jones. Extremely curt and brash in manner. Insisted on being put through to the company director, yet provided hardly any details apart from the fact that he was supposedly anticipating the call-which, in reality, he wasn’t. Definitely gives off the vibe of a spammy sales pitch.

Got a really rude caller wanting to talk to one of the directors but refused to say why. They were quite disrespectful to me, even though I’m the other director who could have handled the issue! Got a call from STTC about fibre, but the person was so rude and kept talking over me. When I looked them up on companies house, turns out they've already gone under. Had a rather unpleasant experience with an inconsiderate cold caller today. They were searching for a director that doesn't exist within our company. When I informed them there was no one by that name here, they got quite irate and demanded to know who I was. I turned the tables and asked for their identity, which only seemed to wind them up further. Feeling quite cheeky, I pointed out that if they were intent on pulling off a scam, they ought to refine their skills - it was glaringly obvious they were up to no good. I wrapped up the conversation with a cheeky remark, "Honestly mate, for someone trying to con people, you’re not really cutting it!"

I called asking for a director by name, they told me he was away on holiday and asked if I wanted to leave a message or get help, then she just hung up on me. Pretty rude!

Got a call trying to push me to switch to fibre, but we already got fibre all the way through. The bloke insisted our line was still copper, even after I explained that wasn’t the case. When I called him out on it, he just hung up. Classic cold call sales rubbish, and they’ve called me a few times before too. Proper irritating.

I inquired about the head of the company, and upon hearing that he was currently tied up in a meeting, the chap on the other end abruptly terminated the call.

This was definitely a scam.

Having been a sales trainer myself, I know the tricks they're taught to get past the gatekeeper, but sadly, they're not applying them right. Saying it's a private call when asked what it’s about and just dodging the question isn’t the way to do it! Looks like they need to go back to the training room, if you ask me!

Been looking at all these comments and honestly it’s quite funny. As a gatekeeper myself, I always try to treat others how I’d want to be treated. Just like any company, we’ve got rules to stick to, same as they do. Be nice and you’ll find they’re actually there to help. Today I spoke with a lovely lady named Anisha who really helped our business out. PLEASE, stop being rude! This number isn’t some scam!

Someone rang up asking for a Director but refused to say what it was regarding. I told them I couldn't assist and ended the call. It’s really bothering me and feels like harassment. I’m just going to keep hanging up on them.

Got a call from a bloke called Arron, asking for the MD by his first name, said he wasn't around then asked if the other director was in as well. Sounds like he had details straight from Companies House! They must think we're total mugs. I just chuckled and told him no, neither of them are in. Could tell it was a call centre, heard loads of noise in the background. He kept going on about sending an email as I hung up. Whatever. Blocked him straight away!

Got a call where someone asked for my director just by his first name. I asked who it was and they said it was Liam, who was supposed to be calling back. My director has never even heard of him before. It’s the kinda trick they use to make you think they’ve already been in touch. I told them there was no answer when I tried his number and they just said they’d email him instead, which I know for a fact they don’t have the address for! Honestly, you gotta feel a bit sorry for the people stuck doing these jobs, must be pretty miserable.

They didn’t give a name or say what company they were from, just asked straight away for the Director by his first name. I told them he wasn’t in the office and asked if I could take a message, but then the polite lady just ended the call abruptly!

Phoned to inform them our phone system might fail soon. Despite telling them several times we’re not responsible for it, they wouldn’t stop nagging. They just didn’t listen at all.

Pretty much what others have said before. They wanted to talk to a director by name and said they'd already emailed him, with a call set up for this morning. Totally made up, as the director hardly ever comes in and would have given his mobile if it was genuine. Obviously, they got no where with me. What a waste of time!

Anisha rang up insisting on knowing why the director wasn’t free even tho she was told he’d be after lunch. I asked why she was so bothered about following the director about, if she was actually stalking him or summat? She said she wasn’t and I told her to call back later (which she never did!). Seriously, WHAT’S THE POINT! Just say what you want straight up - maybe one day the person answering phones will actually help you! If it’s some top secret James Bond type stuff, you need to find a sneakier way to do business.

Got a call from a woman named Anisha Lewis asking for our director by name. She was really dodgy and refused to say who she was representing or the reason for the call. Only after pressing her did she mention the company, but still kept tight-lipped about the purpose. Claimed our MD was waiting for the call. Said she was from FTTC but wouldn't explain what they actually do. Looks like a complete scam. Best to just hang up and move on.

I received a call from someone inquiring about "Paul," our Director, who was anticipating that very call. When I probed a bit further, their demeanor shifted dramatically, turning hostile and confrontational. It’s quite alarming how such a company conducts itself; it simply doesn’t reflect standard professionalism. I’d strongly recommend steering clear of them.

This guy Gary from FTTC phoned, asking for the Director by name. Claimed he’d been in touch by email and she was aware of the call. Total rubbish as far as I’m concerned. He was all rushy, trying to get me flustered so I’d just go along with it. So I just took my time and made him spell out everything, even FTTC, just for the heck of it!

A really cheeky bloke named Gary rang up asking for the Director, claiming he was expecting the call, which I knew was nonsense. I asked what proof he had about the call, and he said he got an email setting it up. When I asked when he got the email, he said he couldn’t say as he wasn’t at his desk. I called him out on his fib and then he just ended the call!

Got a call at work from some bloke claiming to be from FTTC. He sounded really pushy and a bit rude. Kept saying he needed to talk to the director and that she was 'waiting for his call'. He wouldn’t say what it was about though. Eventually the director took the phone but just told him she wasn’t handling whatever it was he was after.

Got a call from a young lady who asked to speak to the director by name like she was a friend or something. Classic cold call move. I asked her who she was and what exactly she was trying to sell. She just chuckled and said she wasn’t selling a thing. Found it so funny I just ended the call. Such a pointless waste of time - I might have actually been interested if she had just explained what she was offering.

Unpleasant and rather cheeky chap! He requested a Director, using a name he'd stumbled across on some list, and tried to be all familiar by referring to Michael as 'Mike'. Thankfully, our Michael isn’t one for shortened names! This gentleman then had the audacity to call me rude when I inquired about the purpose of his call. I ended the conversation-I've no time to entertain such impertinent salespeople!

Got a call from a woman named Dani, claiming she was from FTTC. She wanted to speak to the MD and said he was supposed to get a call from them. When I asked what the matter was, she quickly cut me off and said he was expecting the call. I put her on hold to check, but when I returned and told her he’d stepped away, she just hung up without another word. Bit rude if you ask me.
