I've been getting calls from this number, but as soon as I pick up, they just end the call straight away. I've decided to block it now.

This bloke rang me and somehow already knew my name, but then started talking about life insurance. He did mention a company, but annoyingly it’s gone from my mind what it was! Since I don’t have any life insurance, I’m pretty sure this was dodgy. Definitely don’t share any of your details with them.

Received a call from someone claiming to be with Scottish Widows, asking for me by name and trying to chat about life insurance. I told him straight up that I didn't have any with them. He then suggested maybe a family member had a policy. I denied that too. He got a bit insistent, saying I must have life insurance somewhere because he works with loads of providers. I just kept saying no, I don’t have one. After a while he dropped it and said he’d correct his information. I've blocked the number since.
