Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying if I didn't ring them back, I'd be arrested. When I did call, they wanted money straight away. Tried arranging another callback for November but couldn't get through later. I looked up the number here and found this site. They rang me again, this time from another number but with the same voicemail. The second number they used was 0330 058 7383.

Got a dodgy automated call claiming to be from HMRC, totally a scam.

got a call from some recorded voice that sounded like it was official but was a total scam, said hmre would start action if i didn’t call back on that number today. just rubbish.

somebody rang saying they was from hm customs and revenue, said there was a warrant for me arrest. i told them to buzz off straight away. it was a scam, i reported it to the police fraud team and they said it was a common trick. watch out for this kind of thing.
