Got a call from an unknown number so I looked it up here first, then blocked it. Seriously, this site is brilliant!

The number was unknown to me, so I just let it ring out. After seeing some reviews about them, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it. Probably a good call.

Today I got a call and when I answered with hello, the person just ended the call right away.

Loads of times I picked up calls with no one talking on the other end, mostly late at night. So, I blocked that number but then another one rung me. When I answered, the guy asked why I blocked his number. I just hung up straight away. Starting to feel a bit worried about all this now.

Nobody picked up! Quite frustrating, so I've decided to block the number.

I received a call from someone inquiring about my name, using my old surname from nearly a decade back. When I explained that he was mistaken and his information was outdated, he abruptly terminated the call. Quite odd, really!

Blocked the number after it kept calling me 14 times in a row.

It sounded like a call centre on the other end, but the person didn't say a word and just ended the call.

Insurance calls keep buzzing non stop, it’s getting on my nerves!

Received a call from 02365987520 but chose not to pick up. Did a little digging and found that this number is flagged by others as being linked to scammers or fraudsters. Just a heads up to exercise caution if you encounter it!

They disconnected as soon as I picked up the call.

Received a call from this chap who requested his details be wiped from the database, claiming my number wasn’t sourced from anywhere official. He then rang me again, questioning my sexuality and bragging about being chummy with some nightclub owner. After that, he launched into a tirade of insults-just the usual tiresome drivel, really.

Picked up the phone and nobody was on the other end. This is the second time I've had a call from this number in just a couple of days. I've decided to block it now.

I got a call from this number, but when I answered, there was absolute silence. I ended up hanging up right away and blocked them straight away. Honestly, they should find something better to do with their time!

I was completely taken aback when I picked up the call from this number just five minutes ago. A chap on the other end insisted on confirming my name-odd, considering he already had it at his fingertips. I kept pressing him for his identity, asking, "Who am I speaking to?" His irritation was palpable as he barked, "I’m simply asking you a question!" So, I countered with, "And I’m asking one as well." When he snapped at me to "just provide the answer," I realised I was dealing with yet another opportunistic scammer who ought to be put in their place! The phone deserves a good thrashing too!

I received a call from a lady sporting a Liverpool accent, insisting she was reaching out regarding Legal & General life insurance. The issue is, my life cover isn’t even associated with them! I ended up hanging up and promptly blocked the number.

They just called me, but I decided not to pick up and honestly, I’m really pleased I didn’t!

Somebody said they were from Legal and General and even knew where I lived, but the cheeky thing just hung up on me! Proper rude behaviour.

They called and actually used my name, but the moment I asked who it was, they just cut off.

I didn’t bother picking up, and it’s taught me a good lesson - never respond to numbers I don’t recognise.

Received a call from someone pretending to represent a life insurance company, trying to fish for my bank details. When I refused to comply, he resorted to hurling insults, calling me a 'fat git'. I just chuckled at his childish behaviour and ended the call!

On the 8th of December, 2020, I received a call on my mobile from a woman with a Liverpool accent. She asked for me by name and claimed to offer me a chance to lower my Life Assurance costs. She proceeded to confirm my postcode and then inquired whether my policy was linked to a mortgage or for inheritance reasons. I pointed out that she should have that information at her fingertips. She claimed it was all for security checks, which I found rather dubious. Then she asked about my current monthly payments, to which I intentionally provided an incorrect figure! Shortly after, she hung up.

I've had a similar experience! When the phone rang, I answered with, "You've got my number, what do you need?" The response was an absolute insult, calling me a rude name. I'm quite curious to find out which company is behind this.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Ensure, attempting to lure me in by suggesting they could lower my insurance costs because of the pandemic. They had my name, which was a bit alarming, but when I mentioned I wasn’t their customer, they just abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Just ended a call with the C####, couldn’t be bothered with them anymore.

Got a ring from someone sayin it was about my life insurance from Legal and General, but I’ve never got anything with them. She just dropped the call after I told her that.

I got a call from a Southampton area code at about 2 in the afternoon, but they just went quiet as soon as I picked up. Ended up blocking the number straight away.

Called a few times, didn't answer, so blocked now.

I received a call that claimed to be regarding my life insurance, and they were really keen on extracting personal details from me. When I declined to disclose my birth date, they tried to corner me by asking for my zodiac sign, saying they could figure it out from that. Quite dodgy, if you ask me! Moreover, they couldn't even provide any specifics about the policy itself! The questions they posed felt suspiciously like they were fishing for information related to potential passwords. Be wary of these sorts of tricks and don’t fall for their ruse!

Received a call regarding my life insurance, so I inquired about the source of my number. They insisted I must have submitted a form, but that’s simply not true. I pressed them about the origin of my contact details at least five times, yet they kept circling back to their spiel on life insurance. Frustrated, I decided to end the call.

I opted for "unknown" since "rude plonker" wasn't an option on the list! I asked who it was five times before I finally gave up and hung up on the call. Then he rang me back and barked, "Don't you dare speak to me like that!" To which I promptly reciprocated his enthusiasm!
