I've been receiving responses that mirror what others have mentioned regarding the number above, and it’s quite troubling.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise tonight, 02361001577. The lady on the phone was asking for bank information. My husband nearly gave her the sort code from his card before I stopped him. Seems dodgy to me!

I missed the call as I couldn’t reach the phone in time, and the answer machine kicked in, but no one bothered to leave a message. I did a quick check on 1471 and discovered this number has been persistent lately, ringing multiple times over the past few weeks. Oddly enough, whenever I’ve picked up, the line usually just goes silent. Quite baffling, really!

I had a call from someone claiming to be from O2, saying it was about a phone upgrade. They knew my name, which was a bit surprising, but when I asked about my phone, they just called it a Nokia without any specific model. I didn't bother getting into it with them.

Some bloke from Imperial Telecom phoned me, his name sounded very English but his accent was definitely Indian or something like that. He kept going on about how my calls would be cheaper starting next month. You could tell he was just following a script and didn’t want me to chip in at all. I told him I’d heard that line before and asked him not to call back. He just hung up. I had a longer chat with the person before him, and what they said about the deal didn’t really add up - sounded like some cheap phone service to me.

A lady named Michelle, who spoke with a kind of Asian or Indian accent, rang me up saying she was from Imperial Telecom and that my phone bills would go down starting next month. I asked her to post me the details instead, and she just cut the call. Honestly, these calls come through 4 or 5 times a day and it's driving me mad. Someone in the UK really needs to put a stop to these nuisance calls!

I've been getting these persistent calls from a woman named Michelle, who has this distinct Indian accent, representing a company called Imperial Telecom. She claims that my phone charges are set to drop next month. Naturally, I requested that she provide all the information in writing since she seemed to know an awful lot about me. And just like that, she hung up! It’s starting to really irritate me now, as they keep ringing me four or five times a day.

The caller never gave their name, just started by asking how I was doing, if my day had gone well, and what the weather was like. They kept hanging around on the line, so I asked what the point of the call was since I had other stuff to do. Then they said they’d be billing me for the call! I ended the call, jotted down the time and number, and rang my phone provider. Luckily, because I reported it right away, they told me I wouldn't have to pay anything.

There was this really persistent guy from Pakistan trying to get me to say something that would confirm my identity. He claimed he wasn’t conducting any survey or selling anything, but it felt like a voice scam to me. I just told him nothing and ended the call right away. Definitely hang up and don’t give any info!
