I've been bombarded by calls from this number six times today alone! We're registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but clearly, that's done us no favours. What a complete farce!

One thing that’s helped me loads when I actually catch someone on the phone is to pull the phone away from my mouth and ask anyone else nearby, “Are you running the trace?” I tell them we need to snare these callers and get the team in Southampton (or whatever place the call shows up from) ready to act while I stall the caller. When I checked and it didn’t look right, they tried to blame my computer for it not working! The actual number I got from 1471 was 02333333333.
