Das war zweifellos O2, das steht fest. Ich kriege seit zwei Wochen ständig Anrufe von denen. Jedes Mal, wenn ich rangehe, wird einfach aufgelegt. Wenn ich dann zurückrufe, kommt nur ein Anrufbeantworter, der mir mitteilt: "Geschätzter O2-Kunde. Wir haben Sie versucht zu kontaktieren und werden es später noch einmal versuchen." Das bringt mich zur Weissglut! Wenn die es wirklich brauchen, sollen sie sich gefälligst klar ausdrücken und nicht einfach auflegen!

Ich erhalte ebenfalls ständig solche Anrufe. Der Grund, dass am anderen Ende niemand spricht, ist, weil ein Computer den Anruf tätigt und nur die Person verbindet, die als erste abhebt. Das soll dazu dienen, die Kapazität der Callcenter besser zu nutzen.

I decided to give O2 a ring earlier. The lovely lady on the other end was quite helpful, but even she wasn’t able to shed any light on the situation. Normally, issues like these should be logged in their system, but it appeared mine was conspicuously absent. She apologised for the inconvenience and said she'd remove my details from their call list. Let’s see if this actually does the trick!

We received a call on our German mobile from this Austrian number. As soon as we answered and mentioned our surname, the person on the other end burst into laughter and abruptly ended the call.

Das ist definitiv keine österreichische Telefonnummer, sondern stammt aus Dortmund. Wenn man die Nummer im Internet sucht, findet man zahlreiche Seiten, die den Ursprung der Vorwahl aufzeigen, sei es Dortmund oder Lüneburg. Offensichtlich handelt es sich um eine von diesen O2-Filialen. Ist schon seltsam. Wurde gerade angerufen, aber am anderen Ende hat niemand ein Wort gesagt und dann einfach aufgelegt.

Hat jemand hier eventuell schon einmal mit so einer Nummer telefoniert? Als O2-Kunde werde ich ebenfalls von dieser Nummer belästigt. Mich würde brennend interessieren, was die von mir wollen, denn ich habe weder meinen Vertrag gekündigt noch irgendetwas daran geändert.
