Those digital phone systems have the clever ability to mask their real exchange lines, displaying a fabricated number instead on our caller ID. The real kicker is that it seems someone is dishing out fake numbers, which makes it utterly impossible to pinpoint who’s trying to reach us-or worse, to get back at them! It feels like they randomly change the number just enough for us to think it might be a different person. I've found myself scrambling to update my call-blocker time and again-if they think they can outlast me, they’ve got another thing coming! Trust me, they'll be the ones feeling fed up long before I even start to budge!

I had a rather odd encounter with a chap who introduced himself as Harry, complete with a thick Indian accent. He insisted on posing a couple of questions, but to be honest, I found it all a bit suspicious, so I cut the conversation short and hung up.
