I gave them the first four digits and they were spot on. Then they wanted me to confirm the next four digits. That’s when I told them to buzz off. Total scam, especially asking for bank details.

Got a call from a woman named Annie, sounded like she was from Asia, saying I was overpaying for some TV insurance I don’t even have. She said because I’m a pensioner she could knock down the cost if I just confirmed my info. I don’t mind dragging these calls out - even told her I’d take her to the coast and chuck her off the cliff! She kept chatting away like she hadn’t heard a word.

I received a call from a woman with a strong Indian accent who struggled to say my name right. She claimed I was shelling out far too much for my home appliance insurance-can you believe it? I ended the call promptly; these nuisance calls are becoming unbearable. But then again, it is the festive season, isn't it?
