This number 02305412210 kept ringing me asking to turn my computer on. I told them no, but they kept pestering me. Next time they called, I told them I was with Halifax police, and he just snapped back "don’t be smart with me". Proper dodgy behaviour.

I received a phone call around 8:00 this morning from someone purportedly representing Microsoft security. The caller, a woman with an Indian accent, insisted that we had no computer connected to our line. Then, rather abruptly, she hung up on me. Such scams ought to be brought to the attention of the authorities.

This morning I got a call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft saying my PC was sending out error messages. I just hung up right there. The phone then rang again immediately but I didn’t pick up. Later, there was a voicemail saying if I didn’t turn on my computer to fix these errors, Microsoft would block it. Seemed like a total scam to me.

Some bloke rang my landline saying he was from Microsoft, claiming my PC had a virus. He rang me four times after the first call when I stayed on the line a bit before hanging up. Only quit ringing after I told him to shove off. He was telling me to press the key beside ctrl and hit R together. Proper dodgy.

I had a phone call from this number this morning around 8 am. I'm quite frustrated, especially after finishing a tiring 12-hour night shift. The chap who called, a rather impolite individual of Asian descent, was quite disagreeable. It's high time these sorts of calls were put to an end!

Got a call at 8 in the morning, figured it might be urgent or something. Nope, just some bloke with an Indian accent messing about, trying really hard to sound like he’s American. 'Good morning ma’am, I’m calling from the Vindows tech support team about your computer.' I was like, 'Yeah right, you’re not.' He kept insisting, 'No really, I am from the technical department of Vindows.' Couldn’t help but roll my eyes.

I told him to go ahead and block the imaginary device. He promptly ended the call!

This number keeps buzzing me non stop and every time I try to return the call it just says it’s not a valid number. Probably some dodgy tech support bloke pretending to fix my PC when he’s got no clue, which is about as likely as me winning the lottery (which I don’t even play by the way). Proper waste of time!

I just send all these annoying calls straight to voicemail first and then I check the number on this site. If it’s not saved in my phone or the site shows it’s dodgy, I block it. Legit calls usually leave a message, so I can decide if I want to call back or not. Been doing this for a while, and it’s doing the trick for me.

I received a call at my elderly mum's house claiming there was an issue with her computer. I had to explain that there's no computer there, to which the chap, who had a very thick Asian accent, responded by calling me a liar. He even had the audacity to question my ability to speak English! I'm as British as they come, no hint of an accent. I was utterly taken aback by his shouting, so I decided to hang up. It's astonishing how these individuals can continue with these deceptive calls! They really can frighten vulnerable seniors.

If you’ve got a bit of spare time, just humour them and act like you’re right at your computer when they call. When they ask what’s on your screen, tell them “watch out for numpties calling from India” and then just chill and watch their frustration grow, it’s hilarious!

Some bloke called Brian claiming to be from Microsoft. I told him I wasn’t interested, but then out of nowhere he started asking if I had slept with my husband the night before. I was stunned and just replied, “Excuse me?” He kept repeating the same question. I ended the call, but he rang me back straight away. Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft. She managed to guess a bit of my name, which was a bit worrying. I played along for a bit, then told her I’d had three calls already last week and it was all sorted. She didn’t believe me and accused me of lying. I told her straight I wanted her to stop ringing me or I’d report her to the police. She got really hostile and started threatening to block my PC or something. Got a call around 10.45 this morning. The person said, "Hi how are you today," with a sort of Spanish accent. I just hung up straight away. No legit business would start off like that, right? These calls always seem to come in about this same time. I’m guessing it’s got something to do with the time zone they're ringing from. Makes you wonder what’s really going on.

So frustrating getting these robo calls all the time. I’ve tried using call blockers and also BT’s anti nuisance call feature to keep them at bay.
