My elderly mother, who's 92 and has some mobility challenges, keeps receiving calls from a suspicious character named Derek-apparently speaking with an Asian accent. My father, at 96, finds it hard to believe there's anyone of Asian descent named Derek and has taken to telling them to bog off, questioning their identity and whereabouts. They just want cash without any proper justification, which is quite dodgy if you ask me. In my opinion, this is simply outrageous and should be classified as outright fraud. Interestingly, when I looked up the number, it came back to Southampton. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it? Just thought I’d share this warning-stay vigilant!
