This guy claimed his name was Trevor and said he was calling from 'Connecting Customers'. He rattled off the usual questions trying to verify my info, then asked who my mobile and broadband provider were, promising if I gave the details, the calls would stop. So I asked him straight, ‘are you trying to sell a call blocking service or something?’ He denied it. Then I pressed him about what exactly he was selling, but the muppet just lost it and hung up on me. I grabbed the number from 1471 and tried to ring it back - no answer, number not in service. Honestly, why can't these annoying people just bugger off and leave us in peace?

Phone rang but nobody spoke, call ended after about 10 seconds.
