Honestly, he was so rude! I told him I didn’t understand what he was saying, then he snaps back with “Well, what language do you speak then?” He kept going on about some claim or something. I just ended up blocking the number.

Got a call from some American bloke who kept calling me sir even tho my voice is pretty clearly female. Said there was an issue with my computer and that he was from Microsoft. When I asked him how he knew I even had a computer, he just hung up. Totally a scam. These calls are getting so annoying!

This number rang me a couple of times but I picked up today. The person said she was from Sainsburys and claimed I’d won a voucher. She called me by my last name, Mrs xxxxxx, then mentioned my postcode before asking for my first name. When I asked why she needed that, she said it was to send the voucher. I told her she already had my surname so it shouldn’t be necessary. I then said it sounded like a scam and hung up. I later called Sainsburys myself and they said they had no clue about this offer.

I've received five previous calls from this number, and all of them were abruptly disconnected as soon as I picked up. However, this time they claimed to be contacting me on behalf of Sainsbury's, celebrating some sort of customer appreciation event and supposedly offering a £50 voucher. They even had my name, address, and postcode, which was quite unsettling. What raised a major red flag, though, was when they mentioned they were specifically targeting older individuals. The conversation shifted to various health matters concerning the elderly and then they inquired whether I owned my home. When I firmly told them that it was none of their concern and reminded them that I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service, they seemed rather put out. They expressed disappointment at my abruptness-how audacious! On top of that, the caller had a distinctly American accent and the line was frequently interrupted by another incoming call. Quite a bizarre experience!

02300675628 - Apparently it was some Tesco and Sainsburys “appreciation” day. The caller knew my full name, address and postcode. They admitted they were specifically TARGETING OLDER FOLKS and started chatting about health problems in that area. When I mentioned I was on the TPS, she told me I was polite so far and wasn’t expecting me to turn rude mid-call! Bit cheeky if you ask me! Honestly, with that kinda targeting, I’m worried about the intentions behind this company. Seems pretty dodgy.

Apparantly, they claim to be collaborating with BT. First off, they wanted to verify my identity, but I cut in-how could I be certain this call was authentic? If BT genuinely wished to reach me, they already have my details! Then, just like that, the phone went dead. It turns out it was indeed a scam call. These scammers ought to face some serious consequences for their actions. Got a call from this number, a woman saying she was doing a Tesco survey and offering a £50 voucher. She actually knew my name, number, and where I live. Then she said from my voice I sounded like I was in my fifties. I asked if she already knew my address, why not just send the voucher then? When I asked who she was working for, she got a bit shouty, asking why I wasn’t paying attention. I just hung up and added the number to BT 1572 blacklist straight away. Haven’t had another call since. If you’re with BT, I’d seriously suggest signing up for their free 1572 service.

I just got a call from someone saying they were from BT, and straight away it felt dodgy. They tried to sell me some fancy call blocking service to stop annoying calls. Then they started asking loads of personal stuff like who supplies my energy, my age, and if I've got life insurance. I told them a load of rubbish. Afterwards, they said I was entered into a raffle for a holiday in Tenerife or £5000 in cash. I told them I'd take the cash and then maybe think about the holiday!
