I can't believe the audacity of these despicable individuals! They had the nerve to ring my poor 87-year-old mother at the crack of dawn, claiming she was having issues with her laptop. As luck would have it, she heeded my advice and hung up immediately - which is a good thing since she doesn’t even own a laptop! I sincerely wish for nothing but the most miserable fate for these brainless miscreants. They truly are the scum of the earth! Unbelievably revolting, to say the least.

Some woman with an Asian accent called me saying there’s an issue with my Windows computer. But I don’t even have a computer, I just use Apple stuff which don’t run Windows. My son’s in the navy and left his laptop here while deployed. Told them to call back in six months when he’s home again.

Got a call today at 9.41 from a man with an Asian accent, claiming to be from Microsoft Windows. Said my computer was alerting them about a virus, yeah right! Tried calling the number back, but it came up as unknown, what a surprise! Anyway, cheers to whoever rang me, now I know it was a scam and hung up, not before giving him a few pretty blunt words!

Fraudulent call today! The chap on the line claimed he was representing Windows. I decided to humour him a bit, but when he prodded me to turn on my computer, I informed him quite straight that I didn’t own one. He then asked whether I had any tablets or smartphones and I laughed, telling him I didn’t possess those either. When I called him out for the con job he was pulling, he abruptly terminated the call.

Rang me bright and early two mornings in a row, just before seven, with an Asian gentleman on the line introducing himself as Jack. He was going on about some sort of urgent issue, claiming my computer was infected with a virus. When I quizzed him about where he was calling from and how he acquired my number, he completely sidestepped my questions and kept repeating about this supposed urgent problem with my device. After a bit of back and forth, I decided enough was enough, told him I recognised it as a scam and hung up. Quite annoying, really!

Got a call at about 12:15pm from someone with an Asian accent. Said there was a problem with my computer and asked if I wanted to give him remote control. I mean, would I just hand over my bank info, sort code and PIN too? The bloke sounded like he couldn’t believe what he was asking, kept going on about how much money I had in the bank. I just laughed, told him to shove it, and hung up.

A bloke with an Asian accent called saying he was from Windows about a virus issue. I told him I hadn’t got any alerts on my computer, but he asked me to switch it on. I said no. I asked why he was only asking about one device when I have Windows on a few things. He just kept saying to check my keyboard. I told him I didn’t trust him and asked for a phone number to verify who he was, but he said he couldn’t give me one. So, I said I wasn’t trusting him and ended the call. I used 1471 after to find out what number he called from.

These absolute muppets have been ringing me up like 3 times every single day this past week, sometimes as early as 7 in the morning (totally not what I wanna deal with first thing). Like with loads of others, they're Asian scammers pretending to be from "Windows" saying my computer's got a virus only they can sort out (but it'll cost ya). Thank goodness for my phone’s call blocking feature.

I received a call from this number at 9:10 am yesterday, and when I picked up, an Indian-sounding voice greeted me with a "Good Morning" before the line went dead. Rather annoyingly, they rang me again today, 2nd March 2016, at 7:03 am. This time, they opted to leave a message on my voicemail, but, surprise surprise, there was nothing recorded.

I received a call from this number yesterday at 7:10 in the morning. The chap claimed he was from Microsoft and insisted my computer had a nasty virus, suggesting he required remote access to 'fix' it. When I mentioned I was heading to work, he seemed quite put out. His accent seemed distinctly Indian, despite him introducing himself as Jack Williams. When I started questioning his legitimacy, he became rather aggressive. He rattled off my correct licence number, which did raise my suspicion, and when I asked how he obtained my phone number since I'm ex-directory, he had no satisfactory answer. To top it off, I’ve been experiencing issues with my emails as well. Then, bright and early at 6:30 this morning, I received another call. This time he claimed to be from Windows. I wasted no time in telling him he was just a scammer and instructed him not to call me again.

they rang me three times, first call was at like 7 in the morning, some so-called window guy. I told him I was a clown from the circus trying to find the telly tubby land and joked he sounded like tinky winky the whole time he kept going on. weirdly, he actually knew my first name and my missus's name. then I asked if he’d be up for marrying my hamster just for laughs, and out of nowhere he hung up!

Just like everyone says, got two calls today way too early. Second time now I’ve had folks trying to pull a scam on me. First time was about a month ago, they were saying I had to get on the computer and stuff, but this time they didn’t say a word. The calls seem to come from Southampton, number was 02300560025. Aside from that, just another annoying pest to deal with, I suppose. Last time they said they were from Microsoft.

Got a call at 7 in the morning today, woke everyone up in the house. Some bloke claiming to be "Charlie" from "Windows Tech Support". Sounds like one of those scam groups from somewhere like Mumbai. A woman rang about some computer problem. I said "oh no". She told me to turn on my PC. I said fine, but I hadn't really done it. Then she told me what to do next and I cut her off, asking if she wanted my bank details and pin? She got all nervous. Guess she was trying to trick my 90 year old mum who doesn’t even own a computer! Lucky I was there to stop this daft woman from carrying on. Proper dodgy behaviour.

I’ve been getting calls from this number, and it’s the typical awkward silence when I pick up, so I usually just hang up. However, when our landline went off at 7:06 this morning, my husband and I were in a right flap, thinking it might be something serious. Turned out it was Dan from Windows technical support! My husband didn’t mince his words and firmly told him to ‘clear off’!

This morning at precisely 7:16am, I received a rather alarming call from someone claiming to be part of the Windows technical support team. He suggested that there had been a security breach on my computer and mentioned he could remotely access it. I explained that my computer was switched on and that everything appeared to function correctly, albeit a bit dusty. When he requested that I press the Windows key on my keyboard, I cheekily enquired whether he meant the one adorned with an apple symbol. To my surprise, he abruptly terminated the call!

Got a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft tech support, said my computer had virus problems. I asked for my IP address, but of course they couldn’t tell me. When I asked for a callback number, all they did was keep rattling on about "Microsoft tech support" like a broken record. I told them I work in IT and they clearly had no clue what they were talking about, told them not to bother ringing back. It’s a shame there’s no proper way to stop these con artists.

I told him it’d have to be one hell of a virus to shout out when the computer’s switched off. Thought about schooling him with two decades of IT know-how, but he woke me up and I was too tired, so I just told him to shove his dodgy scam somewhere else.

Got the same ongoing issues with this number. It should seriously be traced and Microsoft really ought to take action against these scam calls. They’re probably trying to freak out customers by pretending to offer tech support, all to steal your personal data from your PC. I reckon even if they shut down 02300560025, they’ll just pop up with a new number and start again. This lot needs to be found, exposed and dealt with countrywide. Does anyone know where to report this number? I honestly think it’s really risky.

Got a call from this number claiming to be Windows support - funny enough I've been having some problems! He said I was the registered user so I asked him who I was! Then he said they don’t keep sensitive info and just ended the call.

Got a call from 02300560025 earlier while I was outside in the garden, woulda told 'em to jog on if I'd answered. Yesterday, the number 02076086695 rang me, looked it up and it’s a scam too, same as today's. Even me dad got a call at 7.20 this morning and he wasn’t having any of it, told 'em straight to shove off.

Got a call at 7:15 in the morning!!! Woke my kid up and I was not happy at all. It made me worried about who’d be ringing this early. My mum and my best mate's mum got calls from the same number this week too. They just called again, leaving my home phone ringing for like 5 minutes. I only use my house phone to make calls, so anyone calling is just a bother.

Received a call from this number at the crack of dawn, around 6:45 am. When I picked up, there was utter silence on the other end, so I decided to end the call. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

Got a call from this number around 8.40 this morning, but when I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end like nobody was talking. I dialled 1471 to check it out then tried ringing back but it came up as an unknown number. Definitely looks like a dodgy scam to me.

I got a call from this number bright and early at 7:15 this morning. Just like what others have mentioned, it was the classic setup. Tried to chat about Windows, but I told him I don't own a computer (a tiny fib, really). He hung up on me right after that.

Same thing happened to me! They called saying they’re from Microsoft Technical Support about some malware issue. I almost fell for it since I’ve been having loads of problems with my Windows lately. Then it dawned on me that I never gave them my number in the first place. Felt daft for a moment but good job I caught on before handing over any personal details.

Got a call from an Asian bloke at 7.30 in the morning. I was worried at first, thinking something was wrong with my disabled mum. Turns out he was trying to say there was an issue with my computer or laptop. I told him if he was aware he was ringing the UK that early. He ended the call pretty sharpish. I’ve had similar callers before, but they usually sound more Scandinavian.

Got a call from an Asian bloke at 7.30 in the morning. Was worried it might be an emergency with my disabled mum. Turns out it was some guy trying to say there was a fault with my computer or laptop. Told him do he realise it’s the UK and bloody early? He dropped the call sharpish. I've had similar calls before, but they usually had more of a Scandinavian accent.

I've been receiving calls from this number and every time I pick up, there’s an eerie silence on the other end, prompting me to hang up. They usually ring me bright and early, but today, to my surprise, I got a call at 2:00 in the afternoon. After a quick search online, I discovered that the calls are traced back to Southampton, and it seems I'm not alone in this; several others have reported similar experiences where the caller claims to be from Windows or poses probing personal questions. It's rather unnerving, to say the least! Is there any action that can be taken against this?

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from Windows tech support. They said my computer was sending out files with a virus every time I logged on. He wanted me to get on my PC so he could show me where these files were and delete them. When I refused, he asked why, and I told him it sounded like rubbish. He then started rambling, throwing in some tech jargon to seem legit, but got flustered when I asked how he was sure I was using Windows (which I’m not). That’s when I just ended the call.

This number has called me loads of times in the last few days. Every time I answer, I tell them they’re con artists and then I hang up. Today, I decided to stay on the line after telling him he’s a scammer, and he actually said he was going to send the police round to my place! I’m just sitting here waiting for that to happen, haha. Honestly, don’t waste your time talking to these lot - they’re just a nuisance and should be stopped. What’s worse is I’m registered with the TPS too, so I’ve reported this number to them. Happy New Year to all!

Seeing a lot of comments like this, it was a guy with an Asian accent saying his name was Roger, saying he was from the Windows tech team. I just put the phone down so he’d hopefully get the hint and hang up since my dad was nearby and I didn’t feel like messing about just yet. Funny enough, he rang me again this morning at about 11am.

Got a call at 7:42am from a guy claiming to be from Windows Support. I cut him off to say it’s way too early to be calling in the UK, and he just dropped the call. Reading other comments here, it’s obvious they’re scammers who just get annoyed and lash out when challenged. Why are they so insistent on calling so early? I can’t imagine anyone, especially an elderly person, would go along with some tech help call that early in the morning.

Got a call at 6.58am from some guy named Steve, said he was from Windows tech support. Said there was an issue with my computer. I told him no way, it’s like 7 in the morning and unlike me, the computer’s still snoozin’. He kept insisting there’s a problem, so I just told him to buzz off and multiply.

This bloke rang me - sounded like an Asian guy with really poor English saying he was from Windows. He asked to get into my computer. I just burst out laughing, and then he started threatening to show up at my place and called me a 'motherf##ker'. Then he just hung up. What a muppet!

I found myself jolted awake this morning at ten past seven by a rather intrusive call from someone named Charlie, representing Windows. He was reading monotonously from his script, but I wasn't having any of it. His questions were utterly absurd, and as I clearly wasn’t born yesterday, I decided to engage. However, his final inquiry was downright revolting-he bluntly asked whether I'd had a good romp last night! Furious, I demanded him to repeat himself, to which he insinuated if my husband had been generous in the bedroom. What a vile little creep! I could hardly believe the audacity. I’m so relieved that my daughters had the good sense to let the phone ring! Disgusting little weirdo.
