I've been receiving calls from someone with an Asian accent inquiring about someone I don't know. It's becoming rather frequent now.

I received a call from a foreign gentleman who was inquiring about someone using my middle name along with my surname-a name I’ve never employed in any of my correspondence. When I informed him that there was no one residing here by that name, he proceeded to ask if I was related to this individual. Out of curiosity, I said yes to see where the conversation would lead, but to my surprise, he simply hung up on me. Quite peculiar, isn’t it?

Just received a call from Benin in West Africa. It appears there's a surge of scammers emerging from various parts of Africa these days. I'd recommend blocking the number outright and getting your mobile registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). Definitely steer clear of revealing any personal information. In fact, I wouldn’t even trouble myself to answer the phone in the first place!

Got a call from Benin today - had no clue where that was at first! Turns out it’s somewhere in West Africa. Don’t know a soul from there and I didn’t pick up. The number was blocked too, so couldn’t even return the call. Strange one.

They’ve been pestering her with calls twice daily! She’s becoming increasingly anxious, convinced that she’s on some sort of blacklist. Each time she requests to be connected with a supervisor to have her number taken off their list, they abruptly terminate the call. It’s utterly distressing for her!
