This morning at about 8:15, I got a call from a bloke who sounded Asian, and I could hear the usual call centre hubbub behind him. He said he wanted to ask me a few questions, maybe three. When he started checking who I was, I told him I wasn’t interested in taking part. He then snapped something like "thanks for wasting my time" and just hung up on me.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent, claiming they just wanted a minute to ask me three quick questions. I said I wasn’t bothered, but she kept saying it wasn’t a sales call. After I repeated a few times I wasn’t interested, she eventually hung up. Quite annoying, really.

A guy with an Asian accent from a call centre rang me. When I asked what the call was about, he just hung up on me.

Got a call from 01914980233, sounded like an Asian lady. She said it would only take a minute and wanted me to verify my address and postcode. When I asked her who she was and which company she represented, she refused to give me the info. Then I told her to take me off their mailing list, but she just said no. I reminded her that refusing to delete my details is illegal, especially since I asked directly. After that, she just hung up on me.

Got a call this morning around 11 from 02820 140029, didn't want to say what it was about when I asked. The bloke, sounded Asian, said he’d just ask a couple questions but ended up grilling me with four. I just kept it going a bit then hung up on him. How on earth are these pest calls still getting past the TPS?

I'm from the UK and decided to mess with them for a bit. After a few minutes, the bloke finally caught on and told me to toss my mum outta the window or something. He was proper pissed off when I just burst out laughing at him. My advice? Don’t get mad, just play along. The moment I dropped that ridiculously long house number, that was when he totally lost it.

I got a call from a Newmarket number, 01638 668 666, and it was an Indian call centre, really unpleasant experience. The lady on the phone basically shouted when I asked her to say the company name again. My number is on the TPS, so I’ve reported them to the ICO. Found them while looking into UK Preference stuff.

This morning at 9 sharp, I got another ring from these lot. They already called me on Saturday, the 12th of November 2016, early at 8 a.m., which annoyed me a lot. In fact, this makes it the third time they've bothered me, and honestly, I'm fed up. What's worse, I'm on the telephone preference service! They're quite pushy and really not polite at all. Seriously, something needs to be done about them.

I’m in the UK and got calls yesterday from an Edinburgh line 0131 444 2222, then today a London one 020 7323 5555. Both callers were women speaking with a thick Indian accent, so pretty sure it’s an Indian call centre ringing me. I told them straight off to quit calling before they even explained what the call was about.

Got a call from someone looking for a Mrs Grundy, asked what company it was for and they said ukp. This was the second time they’d bothered me today. When I mentioned they didn’t sound like a UK call centre, a woman with an Indian accent just laughed. I told them to stop calling then I ended the call. Totally get where you’re coming from.

So this bloke rings me up claiming he's from United Kingdom preferences or something like that. He wanted me to verify my name and address, see if it was right. When I said it wasn’t, he just snapped and goes, "Then why the hell did you pick up the phone?" and then just hung up on me. Proper rude!

Got a call from "UK preference" about some opinion surveys. Honestly, they came across as pretty rude. Didn’t enjoy the chat at all.

On 13th April 2016, at roughly 10 in the morning, I got a call from John, claiming he was ringing from a company out in South East Asia. The number showed as 001270505647, apparently from the UK. He said it was a quick opinion survey, just a minute or so, but that depending on what I said, other firms might get in touch with me later. I let him carry on for about eight minutes, answering all his repetitive questions without much interest. Eventually, I told him our number’s on the TPS list, so they really shouldn’t be calling us at all.

Someone rang up asking for someone else, I told them they had the wrong number. Then he asked to talk to me, had a foreign accent and was quite impolite. When I started defending myself, he just cut the call off!

Got a call from some pushy salesman first thing in the morning, twice actually. The line was awful and their English was all over the place. Proper annoying!

I got called three times in like 15 minutes this morning by some bloke asking for someone who doesn’t even live here, plus he had the wrong house number. When I asked why he was ringing, he kept dodging the question and his English was quite poor. He said something about BT but I couldn’t really get what he wanted. Proper frustrating. I’ve reported it as a nuisance call now.

I got a call from this guy at 7:50 in the morning, said he was from some place called UKP or something like that. I told him I wasn’t interested and that I had only just got up. His English was terrible, so I just ended the call. Then, he rang me back at 8:30am. I asked him for the registered address of his company, and he just swore at me and hung up. Pretty obvious scammer if you ask me.
