9 yearsI received a rather alarming call from this number, claiming that a member of my family-possibly my wife-had been involved in a car crash. It sent a chill down my spine and for a moment, I truly feared the worst. It's appalling that people feel it’s acceptable to cause such distress! This kind of behaviour absolutely needs to be put to an end!9 yearsI’ve been getting these calls pretty much every day now, so I just let it ring out and don’t pick up. No point really.9 yearsGot a call claiming to be from BT, they actually asked for Mrs H____ by name, so they must have some kind of phone list, but then they just dropped the call straight away. We're on the TPS register, so they really shouldn’t be bothering us. The guy’s accent sounded like he was from the Indian subcontinent, which isn’t surprising - they usually ignore TPS restrictions anyway.BTHTPS9 yearsGot a ring first thing in the morning but they didn’t bother to leave any message.9 yearsSome bloke with a fake English name and a thick Asian accent called me, claiming to be from BT. He told me there were "error messages" on my computer and asked me to switch it on and follow his steps. Turns out, it was a scam since my landline isn't even with BT. I played along and kept him chatting for about ten minutes. When he worked out I was messing with him, he got really foul-mouthed and started shouting loads of swear words.BT9 yearsThis has got to be a total rip-off, they say they're from BT but I've been with Virgin for ages! Doesn't add up at all.BTVirgin9 yearsI got a call from someone who said there was an issue with my computer. It seemed a bit odd, so I didn't really trust it. Probably just one of those scam calls pretending to help with tech stuff.9 yearsIt really seemed dodgy, like some sort of internet scam, and the bloke’s accent sounded Asian, I think!Submit Your Own Report (022 1931 5875)
