020183272116 kept ringing with an automated voice pretending to be from Amazon Prime, saying my membership was being renewed and charging some ridiculous price. When I looked into it with Amazon, it was clear it was a total scam. Definitely dodgy!

I’ve been getting loads of calls from 021813112796, turns out it’s a dodgy company trying to scam you. They’re after your personal info so watch out. That 0218 prefix is actually from Libya, Africa. Nobody should be picking up calls from that number. These scammers target vulnerable people, so best to just ignore them. If your phone lights up with a 0218 number, don’t answer - it’s not legit business, just a bunch of crooks. Stay safe!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Amazon about renewing my Prime subscription. At first, everything seemed okay, but then he started remotely accessing my phone and tablet. He asked me to open my online banking through Chrome, not the app, which felt really dodgy. I told him I preferred the app and he kept pushing, saying I HAD to use Chrome. I called him out as a fraud and ended the call. He rang back at least 8 times after that, but I just hung up immediately each time. Eventually, he stopped. If you get a call from a number beginning with 0218, don’t pick up!

Received a call from 02183803453 warning me about a £300 charge on my Visa. Definitely a scam trying to trick you. Don't fall for it!

Since the 7th of January 2020 right up until today, the 9th of January, we've been getting calls from these four numbers: 02185568726, 02184809345, 02181978959, and 02182361874. We never answer because we don't pick up if we don't know who’s calling, and there's never been any voicemail left either.

Got a robocall from 0218 350 4974 earlier, said £300 was charged on some Visa debit card. Mum got mixed up and wasn’t sure whose card it was. Doesn’t matter though, sounds like another scam to me.

Got a ring from 02184747142 the other day. Didn't pick up since I suspected it was one of those dodgy scam calls. But interestingly, they left a voicemail on my answerphone with another number: 01618508684. Seems like they’re really desperate for business! Just a heads up, numbers beginning with 0218 might be fake here in the UK since they’re untraceable. Be careful out there!

Got a call this morning around 7:30 from someone with an Asian accent asking about our home phone.
