Got a call at my job from 0216 223 9850, someone asking directly for me. They actually knew my full name and even my home address, somehow connected to the phone I use at work. They started asking if I’m still getting annoying calls. When I pushed back, the caller said they'd phone me again in about 30 minutes. I ended up reporting it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 20 40.

Got a call from someone with a thick asian accent trying to get my bank info under the guise of 'upgrading my call plan' for a one time fee of £21. I played along for a good 5 minutes, feeding him random stuff like the sell by date and a code I spotted on a fruit box. Figured, why not waste a bit of their time instead!

Got a call from some woman claiming to be from TPS, said they stop junk calls. She had an accent, English wasn’t great. I joked about whether she’d block calls like hers too, but she didn’t seem to find it funny. Didn’t trust it, so blocked her. This was the second time today, but from a different number.

Been getting calls from this number loads recently. The person sounds Asian and claims to be with TPS, offering to block annoying calls if you pay £21.95 through credit or debit card. I told them off pretty sharp after they called me four times over two days, but now I’ve had another four calls after that! So, I just let it go to voicemail now.

Got a call from them earlier today, and they were really pushing me to give out my bank debit card info. Weirdly, they already had the cardholder's name and the expiry date. I ended up answering a few questions before they passed me over to some so-called 'senior manager' who repeated the same questions. That's when I caught on it was a scam and ended the call. No sooner had I hung up than they called back straight away, still being pretty pushy, so I ended the call again. Since then, thankfully, they've left me alone.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from the Telephone Preference Management and could help block unwanted calls. I questioned if he actually meant Telephone Preference Service, but he just kept repeating his original claim. Sounded fishy, especially since I remembered he'd called me before. When I asked what he was offering, he said he could provide a gadget to stop the nuisance calls. Before he could explain further, I cut in saying let me guess, it’s gonna cost £89? Sure enough, he hung up right after - total scam.

Today I got three calls and I finally picked up on the last one. An Asian guy named "Mike" (go figure!) asked if I was having trouble with annoying calls. That was a perfect moment for me to reply :) I told him it was only his calls bothering me, so if he could stop, that’d be great. Then I just ended the call.

I told him this was actually the twelfth time I’d been called by them in two days and made it clear I wasn’t interested, basically told him to just stop calling. But I reckon they probably don’t get the tone - they seem to talk among themselves like that non-stop, so my message probably didn’t hit home.

She wanted me to verify I paid my phone bill by direct debit and asked me to confirm if some digits she mentioned matched the last three of my direct debit reference. The moment she brought up card details, I told her I wouldn’t share any account info over the phone. I also mentioned that this seemed like typical cold calling. After that, I just said goodbye and ended the call. Shortly afterwards, a bloke named Lewis rang, saying he was from the same company. I simply said goodbye and didn’t say anything else.

Got a call from a woman with an accent, saying she was from the telephone preference service. She even knew my address, which was a bit worrying, then asked me for my credit card expiry date. Then it dawned on me that it was a scam when they started asking for my sort code while mentioning my name. They kept insisting they weren’t after my bank info, but I wasn’t having any of it.
