The call dropped straight to voicemail and then they just hung up without saying anything. Took a peek at this number afterwards and saw loads of comments. I’m happy I usually just let it ring through to voicemail, that way I only answer if it’s someone real.

Got a call from an Asian bloke claiming my PC was broken. I told him I ain’t got one, which seemed to really wind him up - he started swearing and then just cut me off. It was about 9.40 Friday morning. I’m absolutely fed up with these calls, getting about three every single day. They’re pretty dodgy, trying to get your bank info, saying it’ll cost £60 to fix your computer. No doubt they just want to nick all your cash from the account.

This number rang me early today around 9.34 am but there was just silence. If they decide to ring back, I won’t hesitate to keep them on the line for a bit!

I got a call from someone claiming to be Eric from Microsoft, saying there was some weird stuff happening on my laptop or PC. He wanted me to turn it on so he could walk me through fixing it. I said I don’t actually own a PC or laptop, and he called me a liar. When I got annoyed and argued back, he just hung up. This same number’s been ringing me a bunch over the past few days, and I’m guessing it’s not done yet.

So someone called me claiming to be Brian from Microsoft, saying he'd fixed my computer. I told him I didn't own a computer, and then he actually called me a liar. I asked him what he just said, and he swore at me, calling me a f###### liar. Honestly, what I replied back isn’t even appropriate to share here!

Received three calls earlier today from some chaps claiming my computer is compromised and urging me to switch it on. The funny thing is, I don't own a computer! Who on earth are these individuals, and what on earth are they up to?

Got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft, saying my internet was under threat from hackers. Totally didn’t buy it. Microsoft wouldn’t ring you up about your internet security like that. I just told the bloke straight up it was a scam, and then he cut me off.

I swear I've come across this number loads of times! Once I accidentally picked up, and some guy with an Asian accent started talking, so I just ended the call. Now whenever I spot it on my phone, I just don’t bother answering. If it goes to voicemail, they seem to hang up straight away anyway - proper nuisance!

They’ve been ringing me loads recently, but I don’t bother answering because it’s clearly a scam. When I stay quiet, they just end the call. It’s really annoying and feels like such an invasion of my privacy, especially when it comes through at the worst times.

I had a feeling it was a dodgy call, so I just ignored it. After having a look on this website, I’m quite relieved I didn’t pick up. I’m really fed up with these kinds of calls, and since I hardly ever use my landline anymore, I’ve decided to get rid of it altogether.

LOL, got a call from someone saying he was ‘David’ earlier today, spouting the same rubbish as always. I humoured him for a minute before telling him to jog on. Since then, he’s called like 5 times, but I just hit the green and red buttons straight away to cut him off. Pretty sure I’ve irritated him now. If he rings once more, I’m tempted to pick up and send him this site instead.

Doesn't anyone think to report this bloke for being a right pest? You've got his number, it's from Blackburn, innit? He’s relentless, won’t quit until he traps someone. Seriously, he should get off his arse and get a proper job! The police should pay him a visit and put an end to this nonsense.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from Microsoft. He asked if I was the primary user of my PC but didn’t know my name or any specifics. We don’t have caller ID on the phone I answered, though our other phones do show it. I told him I’d switch to a different phone in another room to continue the call. By the time I got there and picked up, the line was dead - he’d hung up! Totally dodgy, not Microsoft at all, and could’ve ended up costing me a fortune.

This morning, I received a rather alarming call claiming that my computer had been compromised. The caller instructed me to power it up, despite the fact that it was already running. Quite the oddity!

It's clear this is a call centre based in India, claiming to be from “Eric”. How original! They continued to ring me at least five times even after I had ended the conversation. Quite rude, if you ask me!

so some bloke claiming to be from microsoft called me up, wanted to know if my pc was switched on and what was showing. i told him it was on with some ‘work stuff’ running - thought i’d mess about with him a bit for a laugh. i could hear some foreign chatter in the background before he suddenly ended the call. maybe he caught the cheeky tone in my voice!

I got a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft. He told me I’d been hacked and wanted me to get on my computer. I told him I wasn’t near it right now, knowing it was a scam. He started shouting and calling me a liar. When I asked for his name and number so I could ring back, he lost it and kept calling me a liar even after I mentioned GDPR. Total rubbish!

some bloke saying hes eric from microsoft got my hubby on the phone but then he just hung up, no idea why. then he rang back and ended up getting me instead. he wanted to know why we cut him off. i said we dont even own any microsoft pcs, and he told me i was fibbing and was gonna lock my computer right away. sounded pretty pushy and had a strong asian accent or something. quite off-putting really.

this guy said he was calling from microsoft and asked if he could get into my computer. i kinda played along and kept him on the line for about 12 minutes before i just ended the call.

Got a call from a bloke called Eric, said he was from Microsoft about my PC. Told him that the laptop actually comes from my work at the council and gave him their contact number. Strangely enough, he just cut me off after that.
