Got a call from this number, sounded like the guy had an Indian accent. Claimed he was from TalkTalk, said there was some ongoing issue with my internet. He told me to go to my PC and hit the Windows key plus the letter R. I wasn’t having any of it and said there’s no way I’m giving anyone remote access to my computer. Then he threatened that if I didn’t do it, my internet would be cut off in a month. I just told him fine, I’d stop paying then, asked if he thought I was daft, and told him to get lost before hanging up. Checked the number here and I’m definitely blocking it.

TalkTalk? Yeah right, more like scammers. Just when I went and renewed my contract, the dodgy calls started up all over again. What a joke.

Really fed up with this guy from Asia and his female mate calling all the time. Just now at 9:24am she was really pushy when I refused to share any details. They must keep switching their phone numbers because blocking doesn’t seem to work. Funny enough, while I was writing this, I got another call at 2:34pm, but the number started with 002143 instead of 02143. What was weird is the bloke sounded like a white British guy this time!

This evening, my dear grandfather received a rather dubious call at 22:14. Luckily, we're at his place this week, so we were able to intervene. The caller claimed they needed remote access to his computer and then mentioned they would dispatch an engineer sometime between 9 and noon the following day. My father, understandably annoyed, made it clear that we would reach out to TalkTalk ourselves using their official contact numbers associated with the contract. It's evident this was a scam, and I’m genuinely concerned for my grandfather's well-being! First thing tomorrow, we’ll be terminating our TalkTalk service.

Last night around 10 o'clock, I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who claimed he was keen to help me with a supposed TalkTalk issue. I replied that I didn’t have any problems and promptly hung up. Normally, I wouldn’t bother answering my landline, but given the late hour, I thought it might be something urgent from a relative.

We received a rather bothersome call from this number at 10:40 in the evening. My mum picked up, assuming it was an urgent matter. Strangely enough, there was complete silence on the other end, even though the call remained connected. What a daft thing to do!

I recently received a call concerning an issue with our TalkTalk internet service. The caller was rather insistent, spoke with a noticeable Indian accent, and refused to believe that everything was functioning perfectly on our end. After a rather frustrating conversation, I hung up on him, but he rang me back. At that point, I firmly instructed him to stop bothering me! Ridiculous, really!

I seem to keep getting these nuisance calls from a woman with an Indian accent, claiming to be from Talk Talk, insisting that there are issues with my router. After the third time I answered, I informed her I had switched providers. She then insisted she had my phone number and address, claiming it's impossible for me to have done that. I confronted her, calling her a scammer, and she totally flipped! She repeated “I AM FROM TALK TALK” and I’d had enough, unleashing some choice words to tell her where to go. In the span of just five hours, I've received four calls! It’s beyond irritating!

Over the past couple days, I've gotten like half a dozen calls all coming from India. Heard TalkTalk suffered a data leak there, but that last caller said they were ringing from TalkTalk's office in London. Quite confusing!

Got a call from a guy claiming to be ‘Alex’ from TalkTalk - bit odd as he sounded Indian. He said there was some issue with our internet and that he needed to update it or something. When I asked who was on the account, and told him the person had moved and was no longer on that number, he just hung up straight away. Bit dodgy if you ask me!

Got a couple of calls this morning from a guy with a foreign accent saying he was from TalkTalk's tech team. He claimed my router was spreading malware. What really freaked me out was when he started giving my name, address, phone account number, and even the speed of my router. I didn’t hang about and just ended the call straight away.

I asked for his ID which he rattled off but it sounded dodgy, and when I inquired where their office was, he stumbled over his answer. Honestly, if anyone calls you with stuff like this, insist they send something in writing - but don't hand over your address, obviously!
