Got a call from this number, sounded like the guy had an Indian accent. Claimed he was from TalkTalk, said there was some ongoing issue with my internet. He told me to go to my PC and hit the Windows key plus the letter R. I wasn’t having any of it and said there’s no way I’m giving anyone remote access to my computer. Then he threatened that if I didn’t do it, my internet would be cut off in a month. I just told him fine, I’d stop paying then, asked if he thought I was daft, and told him to get lost before hanging up. Checked the number here and I’m definitely blocking it.

TalkTalk? Yeah right, more like scammers. Just when I went and renewed my contract, the dodgy calls started up all over again. What a joke.

Really fed up with this guy from Asia and his female mate calling all the time. Just now at 9:24am she was really pushy when I refused to share any details. They must keep switching their phone numbers because blocking doesn’t seem to work. Funny enough, while I was writing this, I got another call at 2:34pm, but the number started with 002143 instead of 02143. What was weird is the bloke sounded like a white British guy this time!

I've seen this number pop up several times over the past week, but I never bothered to pick up. After a bit, I used TalkTalk's blocking feature to stop it appearing altogether.

Got a dodgy call recently where the person said they needed access to my computer, threatening to disconnect me if I didn't agree. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away, don’t give them a chance. Afterwards, make sure you report it to your phone company.

I get calls from this number all the time, probably around five times every week. Whenever I say I’m with TalkTalk, they just start cursing and then suddenly end the call. It’s pretty annoying.

Got a call from them two times within a couple of days. When I told them to buzz off, they didn’t take it well at all. Wonder if they actually tape these chats to train their staff or something.

Tonight at around 10:14 pm, my grandad got a phone call. Luckily, we’re at his place this week so we stepped in. The caller wanted to get remote access to his PC and then mentioned sending a technician between 9 and 12 the next day. My dad quickly cut them off and said we’d ring TalkTalk ourselves in the morning, with all their official contact details and contract to hand. It’s clearly a scam. I’m really concerned about my grandad’s safety. We’re definitely cancelling TalkTalk first thing tomorrow.

Around 10 at night, I got a call from some bloke who had an Asian accent. He started talking about fixing an issue with my TalkTalk service. I told him straight away that I ain't got any problem with it, then I just ended the call. I don’t normally pick up my landline, but since it was late, I figured it could be something urgent from a family member.

Just got a call from this number at like 10.40pm. My mum picked up cos she thought it might be urgent, but there was silence and no one said a word. They just stayed quiet on the line, total idiots.

A woman with a strong Indian accent rings me up all the time claiming she's from TalkTalk, saying there's an issue with my router. By the third call, I told her I'd switched providers. She insisted she'd got my number and address and that wasn’t possible. When I called her out on being a scammer, she got really angry and kept shouting "I AM FROM TALK TALK". That made me snap, so I told her to buzz off, with some colourful words. I’ve had four calls in just five hours.

Over the past couple days, I've gotten like half a dozen calls all coming from India. Heard TalkTalk suffered a data leak there, but that last caller said they were ringing from TalkTalk's office in London. Quite confusing!

Got a call from a guy claiming to be ‘Alex’ from TalkTalk - bit odd as he sounded Indian. He said there was some issue with our internet and that he needed to update it or something. When I asked who was on the account, and told him the person had moved and was no longer on that number, he just hung up straight away. Bit dodgy if you ask me!

Got a couple of calls this morning from a guy with a foreign accent saying he was from TalkTalk's tech team. He claimed my router was spreading malware. What really freaked me out was when he started giving my name, address, phone account number, and even the speed of my router. I didn’t hang about and just ended the call straight away.

Got a call pretty late this evening from some bloke claiming he was with TalkTalk's tech team, telling me there'd been a security issue. I asked for his ID which he rattled off but it sounded dodgy, and when I inquired where their office was, he stumbled over his answer. Honestly, if anyone calls you with stuff like this, insist they send something in writing - but don't hand over your address, obviously!

some lady with a heavy accent claiming to be from talk talk tech support tried explaining how to boost my internet speed but i couldnt understand a single word she said. sounded like complete rubbish so ive just blocked the number now.
