Got a completely silent call today, then as if out of nowhere, the person said goodbye and hung up. Strange!

About ten minutes prior to another call, I got a completely silent ring. Then, a person with a South Asian accent called up trying to sell home appliance insurance. When they wouldn't say which company they were from, I just hung up straight away.

At 8:55 in the morning I picked up, but there was nothing but silence, then a recorded voice came on and just said “goodbye”. It was really weird.
