10 yearsSome bloke rang me claiming to be from PPI and said he needed to chat about a loan I supposedly had with Barclays or Lloyds back in 2009. I told him I never had any loan, then he just ended the call. Later, a woman called me from a mobile number, 07771253649, about the same thing. When I told her to leave me alone, she started cussing me out. Proper cheeky behaviour!PPIBarclaysLloyds10 yearsI heard loads of noise in the background and they didn’t respond straight away when I greeted them. Strange thing was, they already knew my name. They had a foreign accent and sounded like they were chewing gum the whole time. In the end, they just hung up.10 yearsLike a few others, I got a call on my mobile from a bloke saying I might be able to claim back some PPI from a loan I supposedly took out between 2004 and 2009. I just hung up. Later on, the same guy left a rude voicemail on my answerphone. Then I think it was the same lot again who phoned me from 07974 521545 earlier today.10 yearsGot a call from a guy who knew my full name and started on about PPI claims. He wanted to know if I’d gotten a loan back in 2005. Trouble for him I was only six years old at that time. He seemed kinda stunned and hung up straight away.10 yearsGot a call from a woman with a foreign accent trying to talk about some money I supposedly overpaid on a loan. I just ended the call straight away.10 yearsGot a phone call from some bloke with an Asian accent who said he was from the Government Refund Team. He asked me to verify if I took out a loan years ago, and when I asked where he got my details from, he claimed it was from my bank. He couldn’t actually name my bank, which was obvious he was making it up. Of course, I refused to confirm any loan info - not his problem at all. When he figured out I wasn’t going to cooperate, he started swearing like a trooper, really aggressive and rude!
