Got five calls from this number today, all speaking with an Indian or Asian accent. The first four calls were from a lady who said she was going to upgrade my TPS account to block nuisance calls. After a while she gave up, but then a chap rang about half an hour later pretending to be from TPS. He told me my phone bill was paid by direct debit and that the card was soon to expire. When I told him I didn’t have my card with me, he just hung up. The bloke seemed pretty convincing at first, but once he mentioned the card it felt dodgy. I wonder if TPS are aware this scam is going around?

This number kept ringing me 6 times today but I didn't answer once. Thankfully, this site helped me figure out who it was, so now I’m gonna block them for good.

Loads of different numbers keep popping up on my phone. This morning I picked up and the caller said they were offering an upgrade for call blocking. The moment they started asking for my bank info, I hung up straight away. Honestly, it’s pretty scary how much they seem to know already!

Had a call from 02093628024, some bloke who said his name was John but sounded like he had an Asian accent. Claimed he was ringing from TPS and offering some upgrade to stop nuisance calls from overseas (which obviously weren’t his own calls!). He told me the upgrade was free but then hit me with a one-off charge of £21.99. Didn’t hang about, just ended the call.

Got a call from 020 9362 8024 but I reckon it's a fake number. The voice sounded like someone from an Indian call centre, probably trying to scam people out of cash for something that isn’t real at all. Seems like classic spoofing to me.

The guy on the phone sounded like he might be from somewhere in South Asia. He was asking for Mr X but I told him he’d got the wrong line. He insisted he had the correct number and wanted to add me to some kind of list to block spam calls. I told him to go ahead and put my number on that list and then I ended the call. This is a fresh number given by my internet company, so nobody else should have it yet.

I've been getting nonstop calls from what seems like at least half a dozen different dodgy numbers - those TPS scammers really won't give up. In the past week, they've rung me more than 40 times. Proper nuisance, these lot.

I didn’t pick up as I keep getting these annoying calls from different numbers all the time. They’re always switching their numbers. Honestly, the government really needs to put an end to these.

These annoying TPS scammers just won’t quit, no matter what. I've got this BT call blocker thing that does a pretty good job stopping them, but it still tells me the last number that rang me. You’d think they’d get the hint that my number’s blocked already. Honestly, don’t pick up for these clueless muppets trying to rip people off. TPS should be off limits!

Its the third time today they've rang me. Usually I dont bother answering if I dont know the number, but this time I did. They asked if I was getting any unwanted calls, and I told them the only annoying calls were from them and then hung up. Since then, they've called again but I've just left it ringing.

I got a call saying it was from TPS, and they already had my name, address, and phone number. They then started asking me for my credit card info. I just ended the call, but they've kept ringing me back quite a few times since.

I've gotten loads of calls like this, all from different numbers so you can't just block 'em straight away (and my blocked list is maxed out). They keep saying they're from the TPS but the calls come from overseas, which is a bit dodgy.

Funny thing, I’ve been doing a bit of volunteering lately even though I’m disabled, and it’s made a difference. Since I’m out more, loads of those annoying scam calls don’t bother me as much. Just had one today from a woman, said her name was Sarah, sounded like she was from somewhere in Asia. “Sarah” - yeah right! I just left the phone hanging instead of answering.

Got a call from some bloke with an Asian accent, said his name was Mark and he was from TPS. He rattled off my name, address, postcode, and phone number like he already knew me. Then he claimed you could only renew TPS over the phone and asked for my credit card expiry date. I kept telling him I’d do it online, but he wouldn't listen, so I just hung up. Funny thing, I tried sorting the TPS renewal online a few days before and it said I was still registered anyway.

This number rang me up around 10.22am today. I picked up and the person on the other end, with an Asian accent, was asking for a Mr ....... whom I've never come across before. When I told him he’d got the wrong number, he asked if I was the registered owner of the phone line. Then, when I tried to find out who he was, he just cut the call. No idea what that was about, but these cold calls are really getting annoying and should be banned.

I got calls from 02093628725 three times. Ignored the first two, then answered on the third but stayed silent. They just hung up. I decided to block their number after that. Today, a different number, 02093628024, called me. The woman on the line asked me to confirm my last name but said it wrong. When I asked who was asking, she said it was regarding the number I had blocked. I ended the call straight away.
