7 yearsI saw a couple of missed calls so I decided to ring back, but some robotic American lady told me they were super busy, so I just ended the call. Then they called again and this time it was someone saying they were from HMRC, claiming I’ve got a warrant for my arrest because of some fraud! I didn’t bother listening and just blocked the number. Honestly, HMRC would never ring you up like that!HMRC7 yearsGot a call from some robot saying it was from BT tech support. They told me to press 1 to talk to an operator or else my internet would get cut off. I just hung up and called BT myself, who told me straight away it was a scam.BT7 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be HMRC telling me I’m involved in fraud and there’s an arrest warrant out for me. They said to press 1 or I’d be picked up by the police. It’s disgusting how these scammers operate, especially since older folks might panic and actually press 1 because they’re scared about owing money. There really should be stronger measures to crack down on this rubbish.HMRC7 yearsGot a robocall pretending to be from HMRC saying there’s a warrant out for me if I didn’t press 1. Total rubbish so I just blocked the number.HMRCSubmit Your Own Report (020 9200 3488)
