I had a rather unpleasant experience with a chap of Asian descent who was quite insistent that I was entitled to a PPI refund. He went on to instruct me on exactly what to say to the next individual he was passing me to. Strangely, the next voice on the line sounded eerily similar to his, leading me to suspect I was being passed around the same person. Eventually, I lost my patience and hung up. However, it didn't end there; it seems I attracted a barrage of calls from various numbers shortly after. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

I got a call from someone saying they were from the “PPI refunds group” and they were telling me I had a refund coming. They even gave me the number 01612267848 when I asked. Bit suspicious though, I hung up straight away once they started trying to get my personal info.

I got a call about some kind of refund I was supposed to get, but the moment I brought up the TPS, they just dropped the call.

I got a call saying I had some money owed from a credit card overpayment about seven years back. After I ended the call, they rang me two more times. Quite annoying!
