Got a call that was totally silent on the other end. When I asked who was calling, they just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from TPS, pretending to help stop those annoying international calls. When I asked them for a number so I could ring back later, they just cut off straight away. My phone is jammed with blocked calls now, I can't even block anymore. This is turning into a real pain. I’m thinking about getting a phone that only lets calls from saved contacts through, but then what's the point in having a landline at all?

I gave this number a ring, and they just kept pestering me for my name. When I asked them to tell me which company they were with, they suddenly cut the call. Blocked it straight away now.

Yesterday I noticed this number had rung me about nine times while I was busy at work, but they never left a voicemail. When they rang again today, I answered and they claimed to be from the TPS. Seems odd that the TPS would bother with all these annoying calls, so I just ended the call straight away.

This number has been ringing me non stop today, easily 20 calls! Luckily my voicemail picks it up or I’d go mad. Wish there was a way to just make them stop for good.

My phone keeps ringing every half hour from the same number. When I pick up, it’s always silent, like no one’s on the other end. And if I let it go to voicemail, nothing’s ever left. Tried calling back and it just says the number isn’t valid or whatever. Bit annoying really.

I got a call from some tps scammer who wanted my card info. She even asked me to confirm the expiry date. I told her, if she already had my card details, why was she asking me again? Then I just flipped my phone face down on the couch. She kept me on the line for a good couple of minutes after that! In the end, she finally ended the call.

Just had a call from some number claiming to be TPS international blocking or somethin. They were trying to check my address, said they wanted to confirm my phone bill was on direct debit and kept asking if my card expired in 2019. Felt odd so I just ended the call. Honestly, you should probably just hang up if you get this too. It sounds like one of those scam calls so don’t let them pressure you into anything.

kept ringing me, saying they was from bt call blocker. they started by giving my name, phone number and address, then asked for my debit card expiry date to activate some kind of service. sounded dodgy to me, so i just ended the call. they phoned again a few times after that but i ignored them. very sketchy behaviour.

Got a call from some bloke who claimed to be from the telephone preference service, saying I had to update my info to stop annoying calls from abroad. He rattled off my phone number and even my address, then wanted me to verify them. I wasn't convinced, told him I had to dash and ended the call. The call came through around 6.21 pm. Lately, I've been getting quite a few dodgy calls like this.

Got called a few times by this bloke who said his name was Max and claimed to be from the Telephone Preference Service, trying to verify my details to stop unwanted calls. He asked for my debit card expiry, at which point I just ended the call. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call from an Asian woman on our home line, asking specifically for my husband. He then put the phone on loud so I could listen in, and she started talking about something called TPSL (Telephone Preference Service). There was loads of noise in the background, sounded like a call centre or something. We’re actually signed up to TPSL and they’d never call us like that, so I told her she was fibbing. Weirdly, she just hung up on us straight away. Total scam, no doubt about it.
