Someone rang me claiming they could help save money at home and wanted some details. I asked where they were calling from and they said Asia. They said it was just to get some info. I then asked if they were going to pay me for the info, since they seemed keen on it. They assured me they weren’t after any bank details. When I asked how they had my number, they said someone in my household entered an online competition and gave my info. I told the young woman that wasn’t true and told them to delete any info they had on me before I ended the call.
