I received a call from someone claiming to be from Westminster Council, informing me that my vehicle was located in a temporarily suspended parking bay. To verify, I reached out directly to Westminster Council, and indeed they confirmed that my car was parked in that restricted area, so this number appears to be genuine.

I tried ringing back, only to be met with a message stating, "This number doesn't take incoming calls. Please dial 0844707070 for assistance." Naturally, I gave it a go. When I called 0844707070, I was greeted with a repetitive recorded announcement, "You've reached the xxx test number." Quite the puzzling outcome, wouldn’t you say?

However, when attempting to reach that very number, it fails to connect. I suspect this might just be a sales pitch or some sort of dodgy spam operation.
