It’s always a woman with an Indian accent, and when I ask for her name she finally gives me a first one - never the usual British name they use, which is so obvious. I’ve tried blocking these numbers but there’s always a new one popping up. Honestly, if you have time to kill, mess around with them a bit or just act like you can’t hear and hang up. She asked for loads of personal info and said she’d send me a one-time 4-digit code to claim the deal. Didn’t share a thing and just ended the call. A few days later, another call came from +44 1242 347971 with the same story. Both numbers are now blocked on my phone. Definitely looks like a scam going round, using different numbers.
