phishy email warning: got a note saying my invoice’s overdue, with a supposed attachment. they say they get mistakes happen but want the payment quick. if you’ve got any doubts just email back, says laura lancey from finance. the address they gave: 12-16 addiscombe road, croydon, 16th floor, no.12 croydon, CR0. phone numbers listed are 0800 85 44 48 here and +44 20 8994 3432 for abroad. claims to be registered in england under company no. 3975817 for hampshire football association limited. seems dodgy to me.

Got a dodgy email today saying I owed money. No company name was given, and the phone number and address they provided didn’t add up at all. Totally looks like a scam to me - just bin it straight away.

I just received an email from this person named Laura Lancey, claims to be from the finance team. They say their office is at 12 Croydon, 16th floor, 12-16 Addiscombe Road, Croydon, CR0. The UK freephone number given is 0800 85 44 48 and for outside the UK, it’s +44 20 8994 3432. They also mention the company is registered in England with number 3975817. Honestly, looks like a scam or spam to me. Best to ignore and delete straight away.

i got an email asking me to pay a fake bill and the number on that email is this one, seems like a scam to me.

Just got an email that looked like a total scam, so I looked up the phone number they gave for Laura Lancey. Turns out it's definitely dodgy since we've never had any dealings with any firm like that around Croydon. Be careful and don’t share your info by either phone or email!

just got this email claiming my invoice is late, they said it’s attached and asked me to pay straight away. they sounded nice about it, saying mistakes happen but to sort it quickly. if i had any probs, i should reply to them. the message was from laura lancey in finance at some office in croydon, with a uk phone number and a company registration number at the bottom. seems a bit fishy to me.
