Got a call pretending to be from Amazon, sounded fishy straight away. Didn’t even bother chatting, just blocked the number right away. Total scam, watch out everyone!

I got a phone call with a robotic voice claiming it was from Amazon, saying there was a payment for £697 that needed confirming. They said if I hadn’t approved it, I should hit 1 to talk to the billing team. But as soon as I pressed 1, the call just ended. Tried ringing the number back too, but all I got was some weird beeping noise, no one answering at all.
