3 March 2026 - I've been using Goldline Cars, the minicab and car hire company, for more than four decades! This particular phone number is definitely one of their office lines, specifically from their Leytonstone branch in London E11. Just recently, over the weekend, I got a call from this number informing me that my driver had arrived. Honestly, I don’t understand why someone a few years back complained about the call charges, considering it’s a regular 0208 London number.

I had the misfortune of returning a call from an unfamiliar London number, and lo and behold, I ended up with an unexpected charge. I’d advise anyone to steer clear of calling it back. Best to just let any calls from that number slide!
