Got a call today where they asked for me, but they butchered my last name - like it’s some random jumble, even tho it’s the same as a famous actor’s. Told them firmly to stick to my surname only. Definitely a scam call! They try to get all your personal details, like your name, where you live, how old you are, even if you rent or have a mortgage, and your postcode. They pretend it’s just a survey, but then they go ahead and open bank accounts and phone contracts using your info. Don’t answer and make sure you block the number straight away!
