I tried calling this number back after it rang and I picked up but they just hung up on me. When I tried to ring them again, the line didn't go through at all. Really odd.

They pick up, but as soon as you say something, they just hang up on you, probably hoping you ring them back. Don’t bother returning the call - could end up costing you since it might be a reverse charge situation.
