Got a call from this number today - watch out, it's one of those dodgy scams where they say they'll fix your computer. I can’t believe people still fall for that one. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it with my CPR Call Blocker.

I just ignored the call, never bothered answering. Signed up for BT Call Protect ages ago, and it's been brilliant ever since.

Got a call at 7:34 in the morning, I’d actually missed my 7am alarm so it was kind of useful in that way. The number started with 0208 so I figured maybe it was something urgent, but nope, definitely wasn’t.

I received a call from this number on both Tuesday and Wednesday, claiming to be from the Windows technical support team. When I mentioned that neither Windows nor Microsoft operates in such a manner, they persisted, attempting to coax me into switching on my computer. I'm looking for advice on who I could reach out to in order to put a stop to these dubious calls. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

I've been getting calls from a guy named George, sounds like he's from Asia, who keeps claiming he's from Windows and there's a big issue with my PC. I've told him multiple times I don't even own a computer, but he just keeps ringing. Today he even called me at half past seven in the morning!

Got a call at 7.36 am from someone saying our computer had issues. Told him it was way too early for calls and our computer was fine, then he just disconnected. Rude and a bit worrying. I wonder how they get permission to make these cold calls from what looks like London numbers.

Got a call from some supposed computer helpdesk folks. They kept calling me "darling" and were really shouty and bossy. Proper annoying, sounded like a total scam.

I picked up and there was no one there - so funny!

Received a call from someone purporting to represent the Windows Technical Department. When I informed him, based on my Google search, that Windows doesn’t call customers out of the blue, he fell silent for a moment before launching back into his spiel as if I hadn’t spoken at all. I firmly let him know I didn’t own a computer and promptly ended the call.

Got a scam call earlier, thought I’d let it run a bit cause they just don’t give up quickly. They kept going on for ages, pretty relentless.

I picked up then quickly ended the call.

Beware of tech support scams. They ask to take over your computer remotely and then try to nick your personal info.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying there was weird stuff happening on my computer. She asked me to turn it on straight away so she could guide me through fixing the viruses. I told her I wasn’t near my computer at the moment, but she kept pushing me to switch it on. Felt a bit off, so I just ended the call.

I kept getting calls from someone claiming to be with the Windows Support Team. When I asked if that was true, they just hung up straight away. This has happened quite a few times now.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Windows, stating there was an issue with my computer. They insisted that I sit in front of my device so they could help me resolve the matter. I continued the conversation, but suddenly, they terminated the call on me.

I got a call from this number and it was a man with an Asian accent saying something about my computer. I told him I don’t own a computer and he just hung up straight away. Definitely sounds like a scam.

Had a load of calls from some foreign lads pretending to be from a tech company. They kept ringing over and over, and honestly I’m fed up now - after asking them to slow down a bunch of times, I left to get a coffee, and when I came back, they’d already hung up! Totally ridiculous situation. I’ve blocked the number for good. Seriously, never ever give those lot remote access to your device!

They didn't hang up right away, only after ringing three times. It's not the first time they've called me either.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming my computer was being hacked and info stolen. He tried to get me to switch it on so he could prove who was doing it and from where. Told him I’ve no computer here and to stop calling me, but he just kept on going with the same story. Bet a lot of older folks would panic hearing him talk like that.

I've been receiving frequent calls from this number, claiming to be from Windows, and they're attempting to trick me into granting them access to my computer. It's become quite bothersome as they ring me every day. I genuinely believe this poses a risk of fraud for anyone who might be less aware. It would be great if someone could alert the authorities about these scams. Cheers for any help!

Having my answerphone switched on really comes in handy. I don’t pick up calls unless I know who’s ringing, which my mates and family do, but I just let unknown numbers go through to voicemail. I’m 79 myself and it’s just easier this way.

I’m absolutely fed up with these calls! Every time I pick up, it’s just silence on the other end. It's driving me mad!

I rang back but ended up on the voicemail, where it said the person was busy on another call and to leave a message. Didn’t feel like playing their little game, so I just told them to get lost and that I’m not interested. Hopefully that’ll either make them reply or better yet, remove me from their call list!

0208 977 1504 keeps ringing me a couple of times every day. I’ve talked to whoever’s on the other end and told them I haven’t got a computer (even though I really do), but usually when I pick up there’s just silence before they hang up. I’m fed up with this nonsense - I’m 78 years old and have terrible arthritis, so getting to the phone is a real pain. Does anyone know how I can make it stop?

Got a couple calls claiming to be from Microsoft’s tech support, yesterday around noon and again this morning (7/11/17) at about 7:45am. Pretty sure they were trying to mess with my PC somehow.

Just got one of those calls from someone pretending to be the “Microsoft tech support.” If you fancy messing with them, let them run their whole script and then drop the bomb that you’re actually on a Mac or Linux instead! It’s hilarious watching them get stuck.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Steve Williams from Microsoft tech support. He went on about issues with my IP and supposed security threats, but I just said I was using an Apple computer. Guess what? He immediately dropped the call! This is the 4th time in two days these numpties have phoned me, and it's driving me mad. Surely there's got to be a way to put an end to these annoying scammers.

Around 9.50 in the morning, I got a call from a guy with a foreign accent who was quite rude. He kept asking for me by name, but I kept saying, "Can I ask who’s calling?" Each time he just snapped back, "Am I speaking to [me]?" Then he'd get all annoyed and said in a bored tone, "I’m asking, are you [name] or not?" Honestly, time to hang up.

Oh joy, got one of those calls from someone pretending to be the “Microsoft tech support” again. If you’re up for a bit of fun, just let them talk their nonsense right to the end, then drop the bomb that you’re actually on a Mac or Linux. Priceless reaction every time!
