We can’t quite recall the exact amount they sought-perhaps it was around fifty quid? Regardless, we opted not to part with our information, as there was a nagging suspicion that they could be a bit questionable. Who knows, we might have turned up at the scheduled time only to find that the location was non-existent. It's tough to discern these things sometimes, isn’t it?

They claimed to have gotten my mobile number through some online form I supposedly filled out, yet I am quite certain I've never shared my real number online. Strangely, though, the person on the line spoke excellent English and was rather charming. It's all quite baffling!

Indeed, it seems that these individuals are pushing a rather dubious deal in London. They request your credit card details via phone to secure a deposit, supposedly to confirm your commitment to an appointment. I can’t quite recall the exact amount they were after, but I believe it was around £50. We went ahead and shared our information just in case they turned out to be dodgy or if we showed up to our "appointment" only to find that the address doesn't even exist. It's baffling, isn't it? Can’t trust these types of operations nowadays, can you?

From what we've heard, the makeover didn’t cost a penny, but the photos turned out to be rather pricey. He mentioned that he wasn’t particularly impressed with the results - his Facebook profile picture certainly had more appeal!
