6 yearsI received a rather peculiar phone call from an overseas gentleman who, after a brief hesitation, claimed to be from the Inland Revenue and Customs. The manner in which he articulated his message just screamed scam alert! He did reference the proper designation of HM Revenue, but I've chatted with others who have also been targeted by similar ruses, with threats of arrest looming over them should they refuse to cough up some cash! Quite ridiculous, really!Inland Revenue and CustomsHM RevenueSubmit Your Own Report (020 8961 1615)
