Received a call purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse, the caller requested information regarding my mobile phone details.

This afternoon, my mobile rang with a number I didn’t recognise but, unusually, no voicemail was left for me. Quite suspicious, really, as there’s absolutely no clue about who might be behind the call. So, at half past five, I took the precaution of using my landline to ring back-keeping my mobile safe from any potential breaches. Lo and behold, I was greeted by a pre-recorded voice stating: "This line is currently not accepting calls. Please try again later." Definitely smells fishy to me! I’ve made the decision to block that number immediately!
