Absolutely a total con! Got loads of texts with dodgy links trying to scam me & they rang me over five times. (December 27th 2021) The number 02089547252, definitely a scam from the UK. These scammers get hold of real UK numbers from sellers online, so your phone could easily end up a target. When you pick up, they check if your number is active, then sell it to other criminals. Never ever click on any links they send, even if they look like official bank sites, it’s just a trick to steal your details. Stay clear of nonsense like this - no proper bank would contact you like that. 🚨 Watch out folks! 🚨

BEWARE: Total scam alert! They send loads of messages with dodgy links (December 27th 2021). This number is definitely a UK scammer. These crooks buy UK phone numbers from sellers online, so if you pick up, they check if your number is still active. Once confirmed, they sell your details again and again, which is why you might get random calls every now and then. Don’t ever tap on any links, they look like official sites but are designed to nick your personal info. Legit banks or delivery services don’t usually call or text like this. 🚨 Stay cautious! 🚨 What happens if you click the scam link? Your phone gets infected with malware or a virus, and when you enter your details on the fake site, they get sent straight to the scammers in a text file. That’s how they steal info and commit fraud. Some of these scammers are very clever, so just don’t click any links and ignore these calls.
