I'm completely fed up with these irritating phone calls. They always claim they need to check if your number is in use. It’s such a ruse, really, as they then go on to peddle your number to telemarketers and all sorts of companies. I’ve got a strong feeling that this was yet another one of their calls, as there was utter silence on the other end when I answered. The caller simply cut off without a word!
