The call took ages to get through, and it seemed like they were using some kind of automated dialler. An individual with a foreign accent claimed to be from "Carphone Warehouse." I didn't hang about to hear what he had to say, but I reckon it was probably a scam.

Received a call claiming they had some sort of O2 discount available along with a deal on an iPhone 13.

Picked up the phone but all I got was complete silence on the other end.

I have no clue who called me. They disconnected before I had a chance to pick up. I have a sneaking suspicion it might be a scammer.

The person on the other end claimed to be from O2, saying I’d get a 30% reduction on my monthly charges. It’s worth noting that calls from O2 typically finish with the digits 02.

I received a call from someone with a foreign accent who claimed to have a distinctly British name. The connection took an age to establish, which made it sound like they were part of some sort of mass dialling campaign, simply picking up on the first person who answers. The line was horrendously poor, to the point that I could barely catch the name of the company they were representing. After I hung up, they didn’t bother calling back, so I’ve just added the number to my block list.

this number keeps ringing me but as soon as i pick up, they hang up right away, then when i try to ring back it says ive dialled the wrong number or something like that. so weird!
