Today, I got a call from this number, and although there was no one speaking directly to me, I could hear the unmistakable sound of a call centre buzzing away in the background. It leads me to think this could well be one of those notorious scam outfits operating out of India. As soon as I clocked what was happening, I promptly disconnected the call!

I got a call from some scammer in a Bangalore call centre trying to nab my voice for banking fraud. If you get one too, just hang up or give them a mouthful if you’re up for it. Best not to waste your time with them.
